We’ve been hard at work upgrading all of our class guides in anticipation for the release of Lost Ark in North America and Europe. The Shadowhunter guide has been updated to include additional information about suggested talents, and a few modifications to ensure that your demonic assassin deals the most damage possible.

Shadowhunter Lost Ark
Shadowhunters are an advanced Assassin class that has mastered demonic shapeshifting, called as “Demonic” in Korean and Russian clients. With their pair of bladed tonfas, demonic-themed powers, and genuine demonic form, Shadowhunters rule the battlefield.
Shadowhunters can take two forms mechanically: human and demon. To injure your enemies when in human form, you use melee and demonic-themed attacks. Any ability that deals damage will fill up the Shadowburst meter, with demonic-themed skills granting greater energy. When the gauge hits 100%, you can temporarily turn into a demon, giving you a massive boost in health and movement speed while active. You also switch to a new ability bar, giving you access to some of Lost Ark’s most powerful skills. However, once you escape your demonic form, you must wait 30 seconds before you can replenish your Shadowburst gauge.

Overall, the Shadowhunter is a simple to play class that does a lot of damage and has some of the most flashy abilities in the game. When compared to other specs, it doesn’t offer the finest group utility, but if you like the concept of cutting through hordes of opponents as a demon, Shadowhunter is the class for you.
