Lost Ark Bard Engravings Guide
The Bard class has two special engravings that are only available to them. Because these engravings have such a big impact on your gameplay, they’re the focal point of any engravings build. True Courage and Desperate Salvation are the engravings for Bard.
What are the functions of Lost Ark Bard Engravings?
Serenade of Courage – Lv. 3: Outgoing Damage is increased by 20% and Crit Rate is increased by 10%.
When the recovery effect finishes, Desperate Salvation – Lv. 3: An additional recovery ability is activated, recovering 24 percent of your Max HP.
The only “meta” build for Bard at the moment is Desperate Salvation. True Courage sounds wonderful on paper, but its effectiveness in a group setting pales in comparison to the strength of Desperate Salvation. We’ll be focusing on a Desperate Salvation construct to keep to the most successful Bard build. This isn’t an exhaustive list. It has enough space for one or two flexible Lost Ark Bard Engravings options of your choosing. However, the engravings specified above have precedence and should be completed before anything else.

Awakening – Lv. 3: -50 percent Awakening Skill Cooldown +3 utilizes maximum
Expert – Level 3: Shield and Healing effectiveness on all Party Members is increased by 24%. Additional efficacy of +12% if the target’s HP is 50% or less.
When your HP drops below 30%, use Emergency Rescue to gain a shield equivalent to 50% of your maximum HP for 6 seconds. Recover 50% of the remaining shield as HP if the shield is not destroyed after 6 seconds. (Cooldown: mid-nineteenth century.)
Heavy Armor – Level 3: All Defense is increased by 100%. This extra Defense is unaffected by Defense Reduction.
Increase in Max MP – Lv. 3: Increase in Max MP by 30%.
Grudge – Lv. 3: Damage to Boss or above monsters is increased by 20%. Incoming damage is increased by 20%.
Lv. 3 Cursed Doll: Atk. Power +16 percent Natural recovery eliminated, healing is -25 percent.
