Leveling up your character and weaponry is a key component of FromSoftware’s latest game, Elden Ring. Upgrading weapons increases the weapon’s base damage numbers and enhances its attribute scaling. Upgrades to weapons, especially several weapons, will, however, necessitate a large number of Smithing Stones. The first Elden Ring Smithing Stone 1 can be found on an anvil within the Church of Elleh in Limgrave, which is one of the first Sites of Grace you’ll come across on the golden path. The Limgrave Tunnels are located in the lake to the east of the Elleh Church, in the northern half of the lake, as indicated by an orange circle on the map. Some trolls have placed the West Limgrave monument to the east of the Stormhill Shack. Encourage one of the trolls to smash the monument open.
The Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell 1 can be found in the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel, which is located in the northeastern portion of Liurnia Lake and shown on the map with an orange circle. The bell is given out for defeating the boss at the end of the dungeon.

The Raya Lucaria Academy situated in Liurnia, right in the middle of the lake. It can be accessed by making your way up the roofs of buildings, but you’ll need a key, which is guarded by a dragon in the lake to the west of the Academy. By crossing a large hole in east Limgrave, right south of the Mistwood Ruins, you can reach Nokron, the Eternal City. You won’t be able to reach this location until you’ve defeated the Shardbearer in Caelid. The Night’s Sacred Ground is a second city region south of the Ancestral Woods, past Nokron, the Eternal City. Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell 2 can be found in a chest in the Atlus Plateau’s Sealed Tunnel.

The Gael Tunnel is located on the boundary between Caelid and Limgrave in the western part of Caelid. The Ravine-Veiled Village may be found in Liurnia by following the lake up through the ravine near the lake’s northernmost half. The capital city of Leyndell is located in the southeast corner of the Atlus Plateau, accessible from the northeast via the outer wall. The Forsaken Ruins are located in Caelid’s western region, immediately south of the Rotting Shack.

The Sellia Crystal Tunnel is located northwest of Sellia, Town of Sorcery, in the central region of Caelid. The Old Atlus Tunnel, shown by the orange circle on the map, is located in the Atlus Plateau, slightly north of the Lux Ruins. The Atlus Tunnel is located in the Atlus Plateau’s centre section, slightly south of the Minor Erdtree, as marked by the orange circle. Castle Sol is found in the Giants’ Mountaintops, in the map’s eastern part, on the northernmost point.
The Subterranean Shunning-Grounds are found beneath Leyndell in the sewers, which can be reached by a well south of the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace. In the Mountain Tops of Giants, Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell 3 may be found in a chest in the Zamor Ruins, right past the Grand Lift of Rold.

The Sealed Tunnel is found immediately outside the Leyndell Tunnel in a ravine on the southeastern Atlus Plateau. The southeastern half of Caelid, on the bigger of the two islands, is home to Redmane Castle. Volcano Manor is located in the Atlus Plateau’s northwest corner.

The Guardian’s Garrison is found in the Mountaintops of the Giants, north of the Giants’ Gravepost, in the southern half of the northeastern section of the map. The Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell [4] may be obtained by fighting the Godskin Duo twin bosses in the Crumbling Farum Azula, which can be accessed by conversing with Melina.
