If you’re wondering about Elden Ring hide helmet guide, the solution will come as a bit of a shock!
Elden Ring is the most recent addition to FromSoftware’s legendary gaming library. While not following in the footsteps of Dark Souls, it does pave its own path of brutality in a more open-world setting. While these games are warmly remembered, they have been criticized for being difficult to understand. If you’re wondering how you can get rid of that hideous helmet on your character, we’ll show you how.
Helms are a type of armour that is worn on the head for protection in Elden Ring. Each piece of armour is said to have varying defensive and resistance levels, but equipping a piece with its right set grants the player particular advantages that can help in various battle circumstances.
Special Effects are available on many Helms. Equipment having special features affect your stats or performance with Special Effects.

Elden Ring hide helmet method
In Elden Ring, the only method to hide your helmet is to remove it from your Equipment window.
Unfortunately, there is no setting that permits you to wear a helmet while playing the game and have it not be seen. Yes, you will lose some stats if you don’t wear it, but FromSoftware games are known for making armour a secondary consideration.
So, if you wish to remove your helmet, simply press Escape on your keyboard or the Menu button on your gamepad to access the main in-game menu. Open the Equipment menu by navigating to it. To remove your currently equipped helmet, choose it and press the remove button!
While this isn’t the best choice, it’s at least a possibility for gamers who want to view the character they created in the character creator. You’ll take a little more damage without your helmet, but looking good is a reward in and of itself!
This isn’t the solution you’re looking for, but it’s the only one Elden Ring has. Taking off your helmet won’t significantly reduce your absorption, but if you’re facing a particularly difficult boss, you’ll almost certainly put it back on during the fight before removing it again.
Your absorption stat differs from your defence stat. Because defence is related to the character rather than the armour, having less absorption isn’t as detrimental as having less defence. Although, given FromSoftware’s culture, it’s probable that the lack of a hidden helmet option won’t upset the player base. Some attackers will go to great lengths to avoid wearing armour.
