Commander Niall Elden Ring – Fight Strategy
Commander Niall’s Best Advice:
At first, concentrate on the Banished Knight, who wields dual swords.
Manage the Banished Knights with a tanky Spirit.
Take advantage of Niall’s exhaustion following his Charged Whirlwind dash manoeuvre.
Commander Niall is joined by two Spectral Banished Knights, one of them wields dual swords while the other wields a sword and shield. The ability to control the two extremely lethal knights is crucial to victory in this combat. Niall does not become particularly dangerous until the knights have been defeated. He’ll limp about the arena, making no attempt to close the gap, so keep an eye on the knights at first. The dual sword knight is the more aggressive and dangerous of the two.
It is very advised that you call a tanky spirit to help you manage both knights at the same time. They’re also vulnerable to Magic Damage, therefore Sorcery mains should have an advantage in terms of damage.
Niall begins actively chasing you and employing his more lethal moves once the knights have been eliminated. Niall wields the energies of Ice and Lightning through infusions in his artificial limb and a whirlwind he generates about him. Niall’s most perilous moves always include conjuring icy whirlwinds around him.
He can then follow up with a lightning-infused stomp of his peg leg before flying at you and performing a tremendous leg smash that creates a lightning shockwave on impact. He can also use two different dash attacks as a follow-up. The first is a rapid sprint into an uppercut with his halberd, followed by a single twirl with his halberd.
In the second form, Niall charges up for a few seconds while sucking in frigid winds, then whirls his halberd multiple times, creating a spreading whirlpool of frost. Finally, he dashes to the side and sprints toward you, culminating in a halberd uppercut. Niall will be exhausted as a result of this technique, and he will be kneeling and defenseless for some seconds. This is the most important damage window of his fight, so avoid the uppercut and get as many blows in as you can while he recovers.
