Chaos Dungeon Lost Ark are a new degree of difficulty for dungeons. After finishing Ealyn’s Request in North Vern, Chaos Dungeons become available. Chaos Dungeons generally have a Character Level Requirement of 50. Completing Chaos Dungeons awards you with high-rarity gear and upgrade materials.
Completing Chaos Dungeons is the greatest way to raise your gear’s Item Level. Each character has the ability to run two Chaos Dungeons per day. Because Chaos dungeons have a large number of monsters to clear, it is recommended that players bring builds that increase AOE damage to aid in clearing enemies.

If the portal between stages is gold instead of blue, the player will be sent to a bonus zone where they can deal enough damage to the enemy to receive a huge sum of currency.

Lost Ark: Chaos Dungeons Difficulty
The first several minutes of Chaos Dungeon Lost Ark are spent calmly in the arena. A Timer will be visible in the top left corner of the screen. When you begin moving, the Timer will begin to tick. It won’t take long for you to recognize how much more hostile this quest is than any other in Lost Ark. Before you run out of time, you must eliminate all of the opponents in the stage; once you do, a doorway to the next stage will appear. Until you enter the portal, the timer will continue to run. Each new stage will reset the timer, which will begin when you advance.
Chaos Dungeons are broken down into three phases, each of which increases in complexity. The first stage consists of easy enemies that players may easily defeat in order to progress to the second round. Run around collecting opponents and clearing the stage swiftly. Stage 2 contains mini-bosses and a larger boss at the end that must be defeated in order to progress; stage 3 introduces rift cores, giant red crystals that must be broken to spawn mini-bosses that must be defeated in order to conquer the dungeon.
Chaos Dungeon Lost Ark | Daily Limit
Players start with 100 Aura of Resonance, which refreshes every day, and they use 50 points per chaotic dungeon run. When the day resets, every 50 unused points becomes a ten-point rest benefit, up to a maximum of 100 points. The rest bonus is used to boost the amount of loot in the following Chaos Dungeon run when it reaches 20 or more. Only the first two chaotic dungeons each day are eligible for the rest benefit.
After leaving the Aura of Resonance, players can continue to run the Chaos dungeons, but the prizes will be significantly decreased. For both NA and EU servers, the daily reset time is 10:00 a.m. UTC.
